Who Are 805 Ag Kids?

805 Ag Kids are students who share a keen interest in agriculture. Ranging from age 5-19, they are dedicated to their education and view participation in animal and agriculture projects as a critical step in the process. Many, in fact, will go on to careers in agri-business.

805 Ag Kids live in the Ventura County cities of Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Oak View, Ojai, Oxnard, Piru, Port Hueneme, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, Somis, Thousand Oaks, Ventura and Westlake Village.

Do kids have to be in an Ag club to be an 805 Ag Kid?

No. 805 Ag Kids is not a club and there are no memberships or dues required. Kids are free to act as independent participants in many local youth activities. Other kids are members of local 4-H Clubs, FFA Chapters and Grange Organizations. Learn more about the local ag programs available to our youth here.

How are funds raised for 805 Ag Kids?
